Our Thanksgiving festivities began at home with our own little girls. Ally and Annie got to eat their own turkeys on Thankgiving day; each made out of dog food!

What can I say?

They loved it!
That afternoon, we traveled over to Scott's parent's home for a Thanksgiving feast.

We had a gorgeous turkey, and plenty of food! Delicious food, I might add!

It was so good to see family on Thanksgiving; it completes the holiday 100%. And little Emery, here, is the cherry on top :)

Jackson was quite obsessed about the dog kennel we brought for the girls to rest in. He kept telling Emery to get inside! Now that she's crawling around, he almost succeeded!

He later thought it was such a good idea, that he tried it out himself. No stuck 3-year-olds, in case you're wondering!

Later that evening, we traveled up north to visit my family for a late Thanksgiving meal (yep, that makes 2...)

We sat around and talked and played games, and had a great, GREAT time.

Tara and Tarra enjoyed themselves...

Mom did too!

Mom and Dad were so, so silly!

Kelsy was a riot, as usual...

And Cherish taught her how to put olives on her fingertips and eat them off, too!

Could Joshua get any cuter?

We had the honor of having Tara's dad Gary over with us too.

Cherish loves her Grandpa Gary!

These were our gracious hosts...

And the food was yummy :)

A lot of hard work went into this meal, and it was ALL very worth it.

Cherish was a sweetie pie, and she is a pro with those olives!!

I'm glad she likes them so much (she can have mine!).

I am so thankful for ALL the members of my family, for ALL the yummy food that was prepared (and eaten!), and most especially I am grateful that I got to spend time with the ones I love so much. Life is really, really short, and each moment with them is a moment I treasure. I love you all! Happy Turkey Day!
